I can’t deny that I had that sick feeling at the pit of my stomach for the majority of the game and with a couple of minutes to go, we looked all but dead and buried.
We’re not out of the woods yet by a long way, but what an astonishing end.

This really was a monstrous result and the players and staff deserve immense credit for digging their heels in to get the job done.
For the first time this season, I felt some nerves before the game that told me this was a vital match and one we really needed to win.
The players put in one of their most committed and determined displays of the season here and got their just rewards with a well deserved three points.
There are not many times when I come away completely astonished by what I’ve seen, but this was one of those nights and the players deserve an insatiable amount of credit for pulling off the unlikely. What a turnaround, what a comeback and what a win! It was seriously incredible, unthinkable and almost unexplainable.
This was a big win and three points for us, considering it was a bit of a drab match and similar in nature to our first encounter with Wigan, where we lost a game that could easily have gone either way.
I’m not going to be too hard on the lads here, because we got the job done and a crucial win under our belts in the end, which we really needed at all costs.
