about this site
Hiya,
Thanks for visiting qprtoday.
I created this website as a place to share my footballing opinion and ideas on what matters most to me; the stuff happening on the pitch! I don’t really care for or have time for what goes on off the pitch, and that stuff tends to be well documented elsewhere, so don’t expect to find too much non-football talk going on here.
I had the idea to create qprtoday as an online blog off the back of an experiment I’m trying through the 2007/08 season. This involves taking notes during all the matches I go to (sad, I know) about anything that catches my interest.
I take notes purely for personal interest and enjoyment. We’re all students of the game in some way and I hope to use this as a source of improving my own tactical knowledge and understanding of football in general.
The blogs that I write are not meant to be regarded as match reports (I’m no good at those), so I apologise in advance if some parts are incomplete, missing or if the direction or my writing style changes from time to time! It’s more about looking at a certain aspect of team or individual play or something related to developing the players and talking about that in concept.
I hope I can provide constructive criticism through the blog and I realise that these thoughts are mine and mine alone. They are not fact and are just one man’s observation and reflection on the massively subjective world of football.
I hope you enjoy your stay and thanks again for dropping by.
Come on you Rs!
