Welcome Neil!

I am a big fan of Neil Warnock’s. He’s a genuine football man who just loves the game and I think he’s a good appointment given the circumstances.

The club needs somebody with a big personality and he certainly has bags of that and can help us lay the foundations for the future.

I say that because at 61-years of age, he’s no spring chicken and this will possibly be his last managerial job in football providing it goes well.

I also think people should look past his image and reputation in the meda and on the terraces. His team’s play better football than they’re given credit for, even if he does know how to make the most of the less attractive parts of the game.

If anybody has a chance they should try and watch the fly-on-the-wall documentary Sky Sports did on him when he was at Sheffield United. I thought it was brilliant and showed his true colours.

Good luck Neil and all the best.
