It’s nice to see the club recognising the work of Pat Harrison, who retired today as Chairperson of the Official Supporters Club.

I’ve got to know Pat over the last couple of years and she certainly left me with a realisation that there’s a lot more to a football club than just watching the first-team play on a Saturday.

There are many people within the fan base who dedicate and volunteer an unbelievable amount of time to helping make QPR what it is and Pat has definitely played a big part in that. She’s been a real credit to the club and the OSC  and deserves thanks from everybody connected to QPR.

Charlton Athletic Ladies finished a creditable 4th in the Premiership Southern Division last season, so our opening game of the league campaign against them was always going to be a stern test.

I watched Watford Ladies take on Arsenal Ladies last season so I knew just how tough this was going to be for us, but it still doesn’t drive it home until you actually see such quality up against your own players.
