Gutted.

The man symbolised everything good about the game and his experience and inspiration will be greatly missed, because he is football. There are few people who are truly special, but he was one who you could say was and I just loved the way he handled himself and his affection and passion for the game.

Pre-season training for the ladies started two weeks ago and it took that to get the taste for football back in my mouth again. One friendly later and I can’t wait for the real thing to get going again.

Thanks to a great servant
