Photos from the POTY

Here are some photos I managed to snap while at the Player of the Year. Unfortunately I didn’t get many of fans with the players or anything of the sort because they shot off rather quickly after the awards finished, which I though was a real shame.

I hope the club introduces some form of code of conduct for these type of events, because it’s a lot of money for people pay to go to and the player’s need to respect that a little more and at least stop for a bit to pose for pictures, sign autographs and have a chat.

They say it’s the same every year but it shouldn’t be that way. Top marks for Gareth Ainsworth though for staying behind until late and spending plenty of time with as many people as possible.

POTY event tomorrow

I will be attending the Player of the Year event tomorrow night after the game armed with my camera.

If you happen to be going do feel free to say hello and of course, if you want a photo taken, especially if there’s someone from the club you’re desperate to be snapped with then don’t be afraid to ask! :)

Ladies title deciding game

The ladies first-team takes on Plymouth Argyle this Sunday in arguably our biggest game in years. If we take all three points we will win the division and promotion to the National Premiership South, which would take the ladies set-up to a whole new level.

Ladies lap of honour

I am very proud and honoured to say that the QPR Ladies Reserves team will be doing a lap of honour at half-time at Loftus Road this Saturday at the Plymouth game to celebrate winning the Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football Plate.

I will be tagging along with them, potentially fully suited and booted too as I’ll be heading to the Player of the Year Event afterwards! To get the chance to walk around the ground is amazing and is a wonderful gesture by the club, so fair play to them for making our day for so many of us and I’m very excited about it.

Photos from the QPR U18s final

I popped along to Loftus Road this yesterday to catch the QPR U18s in their Youth Alliance League Cup Final against Grimsby Town’s U18s.

I managed to snap a few photos of the action for your viewing pleasure and despite losing the game 2-1, let’s hope that some of these guys are still stars in the making for us.
