It was a bit of a dull match if truth be told, but there were some positives to take away. It was a darn sight better than when we visited Bramall Lane earlier in the season and I thought it was marginally better than when we played Norwich the other night too.
Oh dear. How did we lose this one eh?
It’s easy to get upset and point the finger, but we were the better of the two teams and for one costly error, should have taken all three points from this game or at the very least, one.
If I rewound back to the start of the season I may have not imagined that I’d come away from a match saying “that was three points dropped” because that’s what happened to us here.
We should have won and how we didn’t will remain something of a mystery to me. We created chance after chance after chance, but were guilty of squandering some golden opportunities and missing some absolute sitters. And we were made to pay the price for it.
