Winnersh 1:10 QPR Ladies Reserves

winnersh1-9qprladiesres

The QPR Ladies Reserves booked themselves a place in the Semi Final of the Plate after a comfortable and comprehensive victory over Winnersh.

This match raised many interesting questions and problems for us. Going into the game, we hadn’t played as much football as we would have liked and we were missing several defensive players meaning we had to mix things up a bit.

QPR 1:3 Ipswich Town

qpr1-3ipswich

First let’s get it out of the way. Ipswich are not a brilliant side, but they’re a very good one on their day and they played well here and thoroughly deserved their three points. The QPR Ladies deservedly recorded their 10th league win of the season away to Weston St. Johns in what was our first competitive game in eight weeks due to the weather.

That’s a long, long time and you wonder how such a lengthy gap can affect your players and your team, but we found out that there’s plenty of fight in our lot and that they’re up for this challenge.

Brighton 0:1 QPR Ladies

brighton0-1qprladies

The weather has been playing havoc on our fixture schedule over the past couple of months and the first-team have yet to play competitively this calendar year as a result. The players have been itching to get going but have been frustrated by the amount of matches called off due to water logged or frozen pitches. Therefore, this friendly against Brighton was a welcome 90 minutes for the ladies.
