QPR 3:0 Bristol City
A performance full of one word: “progress”.
I loved how we bullied Bristol City into submission. We mixed that with some good football too and we took our chances when we needed to take them.
There’s something satisfying about stopping a good footballing side from playing their game, but in truth, Bristol City simply didn’t turn up.
What a performance by Patrick Agyemang too. I was mesmorised by his work ethic. He didn’t give their defenders a moments rest and got his just rewards with two great goals. The sharp and concise attacking football and the intelligence of Rowan Vine created his first.
I have to admit too, as soon as the ball was played in, I knew Pat would get their with his pace but I did think he was going to miss. I’m not usually pessimistic, but I thought it was a harder chance than it looked. It’s hard sometimes when you’ve got a lot of time to run in on goal and the angle is what it was. He finished really well and like a man who is confident and on form.
